The World

The last card of the major arcana, and the only one that means arrival. A cycle has genuinely closed — not paused, not abandoned, not renamed. What you set out to do has been done, though it rarely resembles the version you pictured at the start. The figure dances inside the wreath because she is no longer trying to get out of it.

The harder edge

Completion often feels strangely flat. If the thing you finished didn't announce itself, that isn't evidence it didn't count — that is what finishing feels like from the inside.

The World by position

The same card says something different depending on where it lands in a spread.

As the foundationwhere this came from: What you are standing on was earned. Something completed here properly, and that is why the ground holds.
As the currentwhat is live now: You are at the end of it, whether or not you have said so out loud. The tension is between finishing and finding one more reason to keep it open.
As what is formingthe near horizon: This resolves. Not dramatically — a cycle reaches its natural end and you walk out of a room you have been in a long time.
As a single cardwhat to carry this week: Let something be finished. The work is not one more revision; it is closing the file and noticing you are allowed to.
